About Sleepless Muse

About Sleepless Muse

I grew up in the blue collar community of Rockdale, TX, where many of my family and friends were (and still are) small business owners. I’ve seen many companies start and fail for a variety of factors, but one reason is often a hesitancy to adapt to new technology like the web and social media.

I know firsthand how difficult and confusing things like building a website or marketing digitally can be for those just starting out, and I aim to make the process easier.

My goal is to provide individuals and small business owners with highly functional websites and beautiful, unique graphics for their companies and brands. I especially love working with other creatives like musicians or authors, but I’m open to all types of projects.

If you’re interested in taking your brand to the next level, drop me a line and we can get started today.

About Kennedy Cooke-Garza

I’m Kennedy and I’m an artist, designer, and sometimes writer in Austin, TX. I’ve dabbled in a lot of different creative fields, from mobile games and indie comic books to advertising and animation.

I’ve found what I love most is the freedom of remote work. However, I’ve had a hard time narrowing down my focus to any one pursuit. I love working in all kinds of different styles, mediums, genres, and formats.

Creating a web and graphic design business allows me to work with a variety of clients, so that every day I’m doing something slightly different!

Frequently Asked Questions

What platform will you build my site on?

I use WordPress. In my experience, WordPress allows for the greatest amount of customization and optimization while still keeping costs low. Also, with WordPress you fully own all of your content, which isn’t the case for platforms like Squarespace and Wix.

If you are on a shoestring budget and don’t want to invest in a WordPress site yet, I can set you up with a Squarespace site for a much lower cost. However, it will be more limited and you won’t own 100% of your site’s content.

Will you provide support for the site after it's done?

Depending on the package you decide to go with, I can stay available for quick fixes to your site for up to three weeks after the launch date. But don’t worry, I’ll also leave you a PDF of easy-to-follow instructions for how to make minor updates to your site after the contract is complete.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I understand this can be a costly investment for a new business. I can absolutely work with you on creating a payment plan that works for your budget.
